Odoo Functional Consultant

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

- Interact with clients to understand their business needs and gather functional requirements.

- Analyze client workflows and suggest Odoo solutions to improve efficiency.

ERP Implementation :

- Configure and customize Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.).

- Lead client training and user acceptance testing sessions.

- Manage end-to-end implementation and post-go-live support.

Documentation :

- Prepare functional documents like Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), and user manuals.

- Document workflows, configurations, and customizations.

Client Communication :

- Act as a point of contact between clients and the technical team.

- Provide functional support and training to end-users.

- Assist in change management and provide updates on project status.

Support & Testing :

- Perform functional testing of developed features.

- Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues and provide timely solutions.

- Conduct regression testing during upgrades.

Team Collaboration :

- Work closely with technical developers to ensure requirements are correctly translated into technical solutions.

- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure quality delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Good knowledge of Odoo standard modules and functional workflows.

- Hands-on experience with Odoo versions 13 to 17 (or latest).

- Ability to prepare functional documentation and process flow diagrams.

- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

- Quick learner with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Basic knowledge of Odoo Studio, Odoo.sh, or module customizations is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Odoo Certification (Functional) is an added advantage.

- Experience in client-facing roles or ERP project delivery lifecycle.
