Job Overview -

We are seeking an experienced OCI QA Engineer to support the migration, setup, and validation of our product on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The role involves analyzing existing Terraform and automation assets, porting them to OCI, and ensuring product stability through automated testing.

The ideal candidate is proficient in Terraform, Python, and test automation frameworks, with strong cloud infrastructure knowledge.

Core Skills :

- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts; hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is highly preferred.

- Proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting tasks.

- Deep expertise in Terraform, including writing and using Terraform modules specifically for OCI.

- Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Infrastructure & Automation Migration :

- Analyze existing Terraform scripts and test automation scripts used in the AWS environment.

- Port, customize, and optimize these Terraform and automation assets for OCI.

- Set up the full product environment on OCI and ensure all components function as expected.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Execute end-to-end validation of the product setup on OCI using automation frameworks.

- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test suites to ensure product reliability.

- Write, update, and optimize keywords, scripts, and test suites using the Robot Framework.

- Troubleshoot failures, identify root causes, and work with engineering teams to drive resolution.

DevOps & Configuration Management :

- Use Terraform modules effectively for OCI provisioning and infrastructure as code (IaC).

- Leverage Ansible (or similar tools) for configuration management and automation of deployment workflows.

- Ensure best practices for code modularity, reuse, and cloud resource optimization.

Technical Expertise Required :

Test Automation Skills :

- Strong knowledge of test automation concepts and frameworks.

- Experience working with the Robot Framework, including writing custom keywords, scripts, and test suites.

Nice to Have :

- Good understanding of networking fundamentals and OSI layers (L2/L3/L7).

- Familiarity with configuring ACLs, IP filter rules, and network access controls.

- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, OCI) is a plus.
