Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Teradata Developer to join our team in the Banking domain. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Teradata development, SQL optimization, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize Teradata SQL scripts, BTEQ, and utilities.

- Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines and data warehouse components.

- Collaborate with business and analytics teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize queries for efficiency.

- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across systems.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation activities.

Required Skills :

- 3 to 7 years of experience as a Teradata Developer.

- Strong proficiency in Teradata SQL, BTEQ scripts, and performance tuning.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL frameworks, and data modeling.

- Experience with Teradata utilities such as FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPump, FastExport.

- Good understanding of Unix/SQL scripting and scheduling tools.

- Exposure to Banking or Financial Services domain is highly preferred.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
