Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, experience with WebdriverIO, and a solid understanding of CI/CD and Agile methodologies. Playwright experience is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and WebdriverIO.
- Develop reusable, robust, and maintainable automation scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Design and execute automated test cases for web applications.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Analyze test results and investigate automation failures and application defects.
- Identify, document, track, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
- Improve test automation coverage, framework stability, reliability, and execution time.
- Develop reusable test components and follow automation coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve automation strategies, testing processes, and overall release quality.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 4 - 6 years of experience in QA automation/testing.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO.
- Strong understanding of web application automation and testing methodologies.
- Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing.
- Experience with functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
