NTT Data - Java Developer

About the Role :

We are currently seeking a Java expert to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Responsibilities :

- Lead (8 - 15 years) - A hands-on team lead is required to provide oversight and leadership in the Controls Engineering Space.

- Investigate and drive support resolution with senior internal clients and stakeholders. Serve as point of escalation for support issues.

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the teams and ensure SLOS and customer service levels are met.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.

- Manage escalations and incidents, directing the team and updating stakeholders.

- Manage staff rotas, schedules, and vacation planning.

- Engage with stakeholders to assess needs and provide monthly reporting.

- Ensure the team is following standard processes and monitoring performance.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to ensure successful resolution of issues.

- Continuously improve processes and systems to increase reliability and reduce risk.

- Influence and suggest improvements on the roadmap for enhancing the Controls Engineering client experience.

Tech Stack :

- Java, Kubernetes, React, AWS (advantage), SDLC, Linux, GIT, Maven, Docker, Jenkins.

Key Criteria :

- Proven record of team leadership in a support environment.

- Strong and confident communicator, able to talk to clients and stakeholders up to senior levels.

- Must be willing to execute on support issues while also building out the function and automating resolution of repeat issues.
