NStarX - QA Automation Engineer - C#/Selenium

Position : QA Automation Engineer

Skillset : Selenium with C#

Experience : 4 to 8 years of relevant experience

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Selenium Automation Engineer with expertise in C# and Page Object Model (POM) framework. The ideal candidate will also have experience in Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) and be capable of integrating and automating complex testing processes.

Responsibilities Primary :

Automation Scripting :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with C#.

- Implement test scripts following the Page Object Model (POM) framework to enhance code reusability and readability.

- Ensure the scalability and reliability of the automated test suites.

Test Case Management :

- Design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios to verify new and existing functionalities.

- Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to understand project requirements, create test plans, and deliver high-quality software.

- Participate in regular scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Reporting :

- Generate and analyze test execution reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

- Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders clearly and effectively.

CI/CD Pipeline Integration :

- Manage and integrate automated tests within Azure DevOps pipelines.

- Continuously improve and maintain the CI/CD process, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of applications.

Skills and Experience :

Technical Expertise :

- 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and C#.

- Proven experience with the Page Object Model (POM) framework in test automation.

- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, specifically in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Additional Skills :

- Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools (e.g., NUnit, SpecFlow).

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
