NPST - Senior Linux & Network Infrastructure Engineer - Red Hat

Description :

- Install, configure, and maintain key services like Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, and network configurations (FTP/SFTP, host files, SSL certificates, load balancers).

- Implement system hardening measures and proactively monitor system performance and health.

- Develop and utilize shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.

- Administer and troubleshoot Apache Tomcat deployments, collaborating with developers to ensure smooth application operation.

- Configure and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, adhering to security best practices and compliance standards.

- Proactively monitor system and network performance, identifying and resolving potential issues to optimize resource utilization.

- Implement and enforce robust security policies to safeguard the IT infrastructure against evolving threats.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on various IT projects.

- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

- Continuously explore and implement new tools and technologies to streamline infrastructure management.

Technical Skills (Must-Have) :

- Expertise in server configuration, network protocols (MPLS, VPN), and network security principles.

- Experience with Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, and common network services (FTP/SFTP, load balancing).

- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash or Python) for automation.

- Strong understanding of security best practices and disaster recovery principles.

Technical Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
