About the Role :


We are looking for a highly experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager with deep expertise in Fintech or Payment Systems to lead our QA strategy, processes, and team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automation testing of financial applications, transaction systems, and APIs, along with proven leadership in managing QA teams and ensuring delivery of high-quality, compliant software products.

You will be responsible for driving end-to-end testing efforts across multiple product lines, establishing QA best practices, and ensuring seamless, secure, and reliable payment experiences for our users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement the QA strategy, test frameworks, and best practices for fintech/payment products.

- Lead and mentor a team of manual and automation QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Plan, prioritize, and oversee testing efforts across multiple projects including mobile, web, and backend services.

- Establish and monitor QA metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and release quality.

- Work closely with product management, engineering, and DevOps to ensure clear requirements, reproducible defects, and smooth releases.

- Oversee and contribute to test automation frameworks (UI, API, and integration tests) using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Rest Assured, or Playwright.

- Ensure proper testing of payment gateways, transaction processing, reconciliation, and integration with third-party financial systems.

- Manage non-functional testing such as performance, security, and compliance (PCI DSS, ISO 27001).

- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.

- Conduct regular QA audits, risk assessments, and post-release retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.

- Stay updated with fintech regulations, security standards, and emerging QA tools/technologies.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

- 8 - 12 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including 3+ years in a QA leadership/managerial role.

- Strong background in fintech or payment systems, including digital wallets, payment gateways, UPI, card processing, or banking integrations.

- Experience leading QA across web, mobile, and API platforms.

- Solid understanding of test methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Deep understanding of API testing, data validation, and payment transaction flows.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
