Role Contour :

Designing Features for the BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) product at NPCI, this role will play a crucial role in the designing.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer with a strong foundation in graphic and motion design to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring together design thinking, visual storytelling, and animation skills to create user-centric interfaces that are functional, intuitive, and visually engaging. This role requires someone who can translate business requirements into seamless digital experiences, enriched with thoughtful animations and micro-interactions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design user-centered digital experiences.

- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

- Apply strong visual and graphic design principles to craft engaging interfaces, icons, illustrations, and visual assets.

- Design and implement animations, micro-interactions, and motion graphics to enhance usability and delight.

- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.

- Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and component libraries.

- Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, or related field.

- 3- 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design with a strong background in graphic and motion design.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), and prototyping tools.

- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and responsive design.

- Experience in designing for mobile and web platforms.

- Excellent visual design skills, with an eye for typography, color theory, and layout.

- Ability to create motion graphics, UI animations, and transitions that enhance the overall experience.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design concepts to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working on fintech, e-commerce, or large-scale consumer applications.

- Familiarity with Lottie, Principle, or other animation/prototyping tools.

- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
