Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to lead requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for complex system integration projects.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams to define and validate requirements related to APIs, data jobs, XML file exchanges, data reconciliations, and middleware integrations.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and capable of reverse-engineering existing systems to uncover business logic even when direct SME inputs are limited.

Your role will bridge business needs and technical execution, ensuring seamless system communication through clear documentation and technical understanding.

Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering :

- Collaborate with clients and SMEs to collect functional and technical requirements for integration projects.

- Lead workshops to capture needs related to APIs, XML, data jobs, and reconciliation.

Documentation & Analysis :

- Analyze and document system integration requirements including API services, data mapping, and reconciliation logic.

- Reverse-engineer systems to identify processes and dependencies.

- Create functional specs, technical documents, data flow diagrams, and mapping sheets.

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams to align requirements with system capabilities.

- Ensure smooth translation of business needs into technical solutions.

- Support integration testing and validate data consistency, transformation, and accuracy.

Client & Stakeholder Management :

- Act as a primary liaison for requirement clarification and updates.

- Provide regular project progress reports to stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

Experience :

- 8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in system integration or middleware projects.

- Strong background in APIs, XML, data mapping, and reconciliation.

- Experience with Agile methodology and working in cross-functional teams.

Skills :

- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

- Hands-on experience with API analysis, data jobs, and data validation.

- Ability to reverse-engineer systems and extract undocumented requirements.

- Excellent communication (verbal and written).

- Proficiency in tools like SQL, Excel, Visio, and Azure DevOps (or similar tools).

Preferred :

- Knowledge of middleware or iPaaS tools (e.g., Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica).

- Exposure to cloud integration projects (Azure, AWS).

- Comfortable working in client-facing and global delivery environments.
