Location : Kolkata HQ, with frequent pan-India travel

Why This Role Exists :

As MetalCloud expands rapidlyonboarding 10+ new projects every yearthe need for a strong Project Lead has become critical.

This role is being created to :

- Manage and implement custom projects with precision and speed with Optimum resource consumption.

- Align every stakeholderfrom Sales to Product to Techto a single execution plan

- Ensure customers realise actual, measurable value from the solutions we deploy

- Build a repeatable, scalable project implementation engine

- Reduce effort, increase efficiency, and deliver a consistent customer experience

- This role carries large ownership, high visibility, and direct impact on the success of every custom project we deploy.

What the Role Looks Like :

As a Project Lead, you become the face of NowPurchase for customers after the sale closes.

You will :

- Take complete ownership of custom project implementation

- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Tech, and Customer Success

- Ensure the earliest possible go-live with efficient resource management

- Build trust, confidence, and long-term relationships with customers

- Ensure customers actually use MetalCloud and realise value from it

This is a hands-on roleideal for someone who thrives in the field, takes ownership, and enjoys solving real industrial problems.

Job Summary (TL;DR)

Were looking for a 3- 5 year experienced B2B Implementation Leader, preferably based in Kolkata, who can take full ownership of project successfrom kickoff to renewal & so on.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Project Implementation :

- Execute the implementation of projects across regions (South, West, East, North)

- Frequently travel for high-value accounts or escalations

- Ensure customers go live with minimal delays

- Delivery of project under the given constraints of Time,Scope,Cost & Quality

2. Onboarding Strategy & Execution :

- Plan and manage rollout timelines

- Configure workflows as per customer requirements

- Ensure seamless coordination between product, tech, and field teams

3. Metrics, Reporting & Performance Tracking :

- Track KPIs (activation time, go live tiem)

- Share implementation reports with leadership

- Maintain complete visibility of project progress across regions

4. Relationship Management :

- Build long-standing customer relationships

- Celebrate wins, ensure satisfaction, and act as a trusted advisor

Skills & Experience Were Looking For :

Must-Have :

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills

- Strong organisation, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities with full ownership

- Bachelors degree in Engineering with 2- 3 years of B2B project implementation experience

- Proven execution capability in distributed/on-site environments with willingness to travel across India

- Experience in custom project implementation, industrial automation, or digitisation projects

- Familiarity with CRM/CS tools (Zoho, HubSpot, Gainsight)

- Attention to detail with ability to work in ambiguity

- Understanding of business fundamentals

- Vendor management, purchasing, and negotiation skills

Good-to-Have :

- Experience with manufacturing/foundry customers

- Experience hosting demos, webinars, or check-ins

- Experience in industrial SaaS/Projects
