Job Title : Automation Tester (Python/Java, Robot Framework)

Location : Gurgaon

Job Type : Full-Time

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python/Java.

- Design test cases from functional and non-functional requirements.

- Execute test suites, analyze test results, and report defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure test coverage.

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings.

- Ensure traceability between test cases and business/technical requirements.

- Maintain clear and comprehensive test documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.

- Strong programming skills in Python.

- Expertise in using Robot Framework for test automation.

- Experience with test libraries like Selenium Library, Requests Library, or similar.

- Knowledge of testing APIs (REST/SOAP) using automation tools.

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)

- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.

- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
