Role Summary

We are seeking a high-ownership Senior Technical Business Analyst to act as the essential "glue" between our business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. In this role, you will navigate ambiguity to drive requirement discovery, process design, and delivery alignment across product, engineering, and data squads. You will be responsible for translating high-level business outcomes into crisp, testable functional specifications and structured user stories. Reporting to the VP of Change Management, you will support critical initiatives across systems and processes, ensuring that every feature delivered is traceable to a core business goal. The ideal candidate is a deep process thinker with a strong grasp of systems and data flows, capable of challenging assumptions and ensuring seamless UAT execution in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

- Requirement Lifecycle Management : Own the end-to-end traceability of requirements from initial business goals to functional specifications, user stories, and final delivered functionality.

- Technical Documentation : Author high-quality BRDs, FRDs, detailed process flows, and decision/rule matrices that simplify complex business logic for engineering teams.

- Agile Story Engineering : Convert complex business rules into well-structured Epics, Features, and User Stories with rigorous, unambiguous acceptance criteria.

- Change Management Support : Partner with Change Leads to execute system and process improvements, creating communication plans and training resources to drive user adoption.

- Stakeholder Orchestration : Facilitate discovery sessions with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Ops) to surface barriers to change and challenge underlying assumptions.

- UAT Strategy & Execution : Design and lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy, including the creation of test scenarios and cases, and coordinating execution with business users.

- Process Modeling : Utilize tools like Lucidchart or Visio to map current-state and future-state workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization.

- Systems & Data Analysis : Assist in data mapping and conceptualize system integrations (APIs/Databases) to ensure technical solutions align with data flow requirements.

- Solution Validation : Rigorously validate delivered software against defined acceptance criteria and business rules before production release.

- Continuous Improvement : Contribute to post-project reviews and gather stakeholder feedback to adjust change management approaches and improve delivery velocity.

Technical Requirements

- Professional Experience : 5+ years as a Business Analyst or Technical BA, ideally within large-scale programs or product-centric environments.

- Documentation Mastery : Expert skills in creating Jira/Confluence tickets, process diagrams (BPMN), and rule matrices.

- Systems Fluency : Solid conceptual understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows; basic SQL for data querying is highly preferred.

- Testing Rigor : Proven experience in designing UAT frameworks and ensuring requirements are testable and measurable.

- Tooling Proficiency : Advanced hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro/Lucidchart, and the MS Office/Google Workspace suite.

- Education : Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), Science, or a related field (CS/IT/MCA preferred but not mandatory).
