We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing and intermediate-level automation skills for web(mandatory) and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and executing test cases, identifying issues early in the development cycle, and contributing to automation efforts when needed. This role is primarily focused on manual testing, with an expectation to maintain and contribute to test automation frameworks using tools/libraries such as Playwright.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, document, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.

- Perform functional, regression, UI, smoke, and exploratory testing.

- Perform cross-device testing.

- Report, track, and manage bugs using tools like JIRA.

- Collaborate with development, product, and design teams to review requirements and ensure test coverage.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts (web and optionally mobile) using Playwright with typescript.

- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and QA sign-offs.

- Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Must Have Skills :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with strong manual testing background.

- Mandatory experience in mobile application testing (manual on Android and iOS).

- Self-motivated and proactive in identifying test gaps, raising risks, and suggesting process

improvements.

- Intermediate-level experience in test automation for web applications using Selenium or

Playwright.

- Proficiency in any one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript).

- Exposure to mobile application testing (manual required, automation a plus).

- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Familiarity with test and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a quality-first mindset.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to have Skills :

- Experience with mobile test automation using Appium or any native frameworks.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- API testing experience using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
