Node.js Developer - Javascript/TypeScript

Job Summary :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Node.js Developer to join our backend development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable, high-performance applications and APIs using Node.js and related frameworks. You will collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver robust server-side logic and services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security

- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements

- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews

- Implement unit tests and participate in QA processes

- Troubleshoot and debug applications in development and production environments

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or Koa.js

- Proficiency with MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other databases

- Experience with authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)

- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments

- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture

- Experience using Git and version control workflows
