Node.js Developer

Key responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and real-time APIs with Node.js.

- Implement business logic, data access, and integrations with third-party services.

- Optimize performance, handle concurrency, and troubleshoot production issues.

- Write unit and integration tests; support CI/CD deployments.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience with Express and/or Hapi for building APIs.

- Practical testing experience with Jest (unit, mocks, snapshot testing).

- Front-end experience using React (component-driven development, hooks).

- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) : schema design, indexing, query tuning.

- Experience with MongoDB (schema design, aggregation) and working knowledge of when to use NoSQL vs relational.

- Experience with Redis for caching, pub/sub, or session management.

- Experience deploying and operating services on Azure (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, logging).

- Familiarity with RESTful API design, API versioning, and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).

- Good knowledge of Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
