Node.js Developer

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Node.js Developer to join our backend development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in JavaScript and Node.js with at least 1 year of professional experience in backend or full-stack development. Youll play a key role in building robust and scalable backend services, ensuring application performance, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.

- Develop well-structured RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications.

- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and external data sources.

- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, QA engineers, and other backend developers to ensure seamless integration and feature delivery.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and peer feedback sessions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing backend systems.

- Write and maintain technical documentation related to code, processes, and APIs.

- Adhere to best practices in coding standards, design patterns, and system architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 1+ year of hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).

- Experience with Express.js or similar backend frameworks.

- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

- Working knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

- Basic understanding of version control systems, especially Git.

- Familiarity with error handling, logging, and debugging techniques.

- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
