Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

The role involves designing, developing, and deploying clean-core aligned cloud applications and integrations using modern, cloud-native engineering practices.

You will work across SAP and non-SAP landscapes, enabling scalable, secure, and automated solutions through CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy extensions on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry) using CAP and SAP HANA Cloud

- Build clean corecompliant extensions for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (side-by-side / in-app where applicable)

- Model and implement data structures and services using CDS

- Develop and consume OData/REST APIs

- Integrate SAP and third-party systems using SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, destinations, and APIs

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment

- Apply SAP and cloud security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and secure coding

- Manage identity lifecycle using SAP IAS/IPS

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability using BTP tools

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end SAP cloud solutions

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry, CAP, SAP HANA Cloud)

- Proven expertise in clean core development principles for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

- Strong CDS modeling skills

- Proficiency in Node.js / JavaScript (preferred) or Python for BTP application development

- Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 and backend integration using OData and REST

- Hands-on experience integrating CAP applications with :

- SAP S/4HANA

- SAP HANA Cloud

- Third-party systems using destinations and APIs

- Working knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and Event Mesh

- Experience with Groovy scripting for complex integration scenarios

- Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices

- Tools : Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or SAP CI/CD services

- Familiarity with cloud-native concepts :

- 12-factor applications

- Stateless services

- Configuration via environment

- Scalability patterns

Additional Requirements (As Specified by Hiring Team) :

- 3+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA

- 2+ years of experience working with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Fiori

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

- Exposure to hybrid SAP landscapes (SAP + non-SAP integrations)

- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
