Job Description :

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at NIQ Activate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and quality of our software solutions.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to identify issues and ensure the highest quality of our products.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Execute and analyze automated test results, reporting defects and working with developers to resolve issues.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

- Report and document software defects.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing best practices.

- Continuously research and implement automation testing best practices.

- Ensure the stability and reliability of our testing infrastructure.

- Continuously improve and optimize the automation framework and testing processes.

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in QA automation.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

- 5 - 7 years of experience in QA Automation.

- Proven experience in test automation using Cypress.

- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- Solid understanding of infrastructure testing environments and tools.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).

- Knowledge of performance and security testing.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Experience with Single Page Applications (SPA) and React.
