Nexware Technologies - Software Test Engineer - Functional/Regression Testing

Technical Responsibilities:

- Design detailed test plans, traceability matrices, and automation-ready test scripts.

- Perform functional, regression, UAT, smoke, and integration testing.

- Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, or RestAssured.

- Execute SQL queries for backend validation and data integrity checks.

- Work with developers to identify root causes and validate fixes.

- Develop automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver or Cypress (nice-to-have).

- Troubleshoot front-end and backend issues using logs and dev tools.

- Run load/performance tests where applicable using JMeter.

Additional Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of CI/CD integration for automated tests.

- Experience in Agile ceremonies and release management
