Nexthink Subject Matter Expert

Key Responsibilities :

- Use Nexthink Query Language (NQL) to create complex queries, dashboards, categories, and metrics.

- Design and develop custom dashboards and analytics in the Nexthink portal based on business requirements.

- Monitor and analyze DEX Scores, identify gaps, and create recommendations for improvement.

- Develop and enable Nexthink Campaigns, Remote Actions, and diagnostics based on customer needs.

- Integrate Nexthink with ServiceNow and other enterprise tools using Nexthink APIs and connectors.

- Generate analytical reports with actionable insights to improve end-user experience and IT service performance.

- Understand and apply knowledge of Nexthink On-Prem vs SaaS versions.

- Work closely with business teams to gather requirements and deliver Nexthink solutions aligned with expectations.

- Perform PowerShell scripting and MS SQL queries for data extraction and automation.

- Provide support and troubleshooting for Windows OS, Active Directory (AD/AAD), network components, and infrastructure.

- Maintain clear documentation for all dashboards, remote actions, and integrations.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth project execution and vendor management.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong working knowledge of :

• NQL (Nexthink Query Language)
• Custom dashboard creation and Nexthink metrics
• Nexthink remote actions, campaigns, and diagnostics
• Nexthink APIs and connectors

- Experience integrating Nexthink with ServiceNow.

- Intermediate to advanced PowerShell scripting and MS SQL skills.

- Understanding of the Nexthink data model and data analytics.

- Good knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD).

- Familiarity with PC infrastructure, including :

- Windows OS, networking, application integration

- Azure Infra Services, AWS Infra Services, IIS Server, SCCM, Microsoft SCOM, Windows Server

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience in enterprise IT environments.

- Exposure to Azure Apps, cloud-based monitoring, and infrastructure management tools.

- Knowledge of ITIL practices and service management principles.
