Role : WORKFRONT AUTOMATION QA

Location : Remote | Type: Full-time


Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Workfront QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our Workfront implementations and integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in testing SaaS platforms (preferably Workfront), with a focus on building robust and scalable automation frameworks to streamline quality assurance processes across project and workflow management solutions.


Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for validating Workfront workflows, custom forms, templates, and integrations.

- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and Workfront administrators to understand business processes and translate them into comprehensive test strategies.

- Perform end-to-end functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing for the Workfront platform and its integrations with tools such as Jira, Salesforce, and MS Teams.

- Validate user permissions, role-based access, project lifecycles, task automation, and reporting functionalities in Workfront.

- Conduct API testing for Workfronts RESTful services using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent.

- Build and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Robot Framework.

- Implement automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

- Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or similar issue-tracking tools.

- Work closely with Workfront administrators and developers to identify issues early and ensure resolution before deployment.

- Maintain comprehensive QA documentation including test cases, test plans, and traceability matrices.


Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4+ years of experience in QA, with at least 12 years focused on Workfront platform testing.

- Strong proficiency in test automation using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

- Familiarity with Workfronts configuration including projects, portfolios, tasks, custom forms, and reports.

- Experience in API testing and data validation.

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications :

- Workfront Core/Administrator Certification is a plus.

- Experience with Workfront Fusion or Workfront integrations with third-party systems.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) for automation logic.

- Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr.
