Newpage - AEM Automation Quality Assurance Engineer - Application Testing

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AEM Automation QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications and developing robust automation test scripts.

This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of AEM-based solutions through continuous testing and quality validation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for AEM components, templates, and integrations using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress.

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to define test strategies and acceptance criteria for AEM projects.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing for AEM web applications.

- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for manual and automated execution.

- Validate content authoring workflows, publishing mechanisms, and DAM functionalities within AEM.

- Automate REST API and service layer validations using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrating test automation suites using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues in collaboration with the development team using JIRA or similar tools.

- Perform cross-browser, device, and accessibility testing as per project requirements.

- Provide QA sign-off after thorough verification of deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4+ years of QA experience with at least 2 years focused on AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) testing.

- Proficient in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress).

- Experience testing AEM Sites, AEM Assets, Workflows, and authoring interfaces.

- Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI.

- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development concepts.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Bamboo.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- ISTQB or other QA certifications.

- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Target, or other Adobe Marketing Cloud tools.

- Exposure to Headless CMS or SPA frameworks (React/Angular) integrated with AEM
