Role Overview :

We are seeking a passionate and experienced AI Engineer with deep proficiency in Java and hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning solutions using the AWS tech stack. You will join our growing AI team to build, scale, and optimize high-impact AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy robust AI & machine learning models using Java and AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.).

- Integrate AI algorithms and data pipelines into scalable production systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI use cases, data requirements, and deployment strategies.

- Optimise model performance and ensure reliability, security, and scalability of solutions in production.

- Maintain end-to-end responsibility for AI projects from prototyping to monitoring.

- Continuously research and apply the latest AI/ML technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java programming, with strong software engineering fundamentals.

- Proven experience implementing AI/ML models, algorithms, and data processing with Java.

- Deep expertise in AWS cloud services, especially those relevant to AI/ML (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, Step Functions, etc.).

- Familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, DL4J, Weka, etc.) and ability to integrate them with Java applications.

- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

- Experience deploying AI solutions at scale, including CI/CD pipelines, testing, and cloud monitoring.

- Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in an agile team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

- AWS Certification (Machine Learning, Solutions Architect, or equivalent).

- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and DevOps.

- Exposure to data engineering and ETL workflows.
