Networking Architect

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Network Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructure across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise network architecture, cloud networking, security protocols, and hands-on experience with modern technologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect enterprise-level network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud networks.

- Define network architecture standards, policies, and procedures ensuring security, scalability, and performance.

- Lead the integration of on-premise networks with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and monitoring.

- Oversee implementation of networking hardware, firewalls, routers, switches, and other security appliances.

- Collaborate with IT security teams to enforce network security policies and incident response strategies.

- Lead network upgrade and transformation projects with minimal downtime.

- Troubleshoot high-level network issues and provide expert guidance to engineering/support teams.

- Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

- Support business continuity and disaster recovery plans related to network availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3+ years in a network architecture role.

- Deep understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, SDN, and DNS/DHCP.

- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and similar platforms.

- Hands-on experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Solid understanding of network security, zero-trust architecture, micro-segmentation, and VPN technologies.

- Proficient in network design documentation and tools like Visio or Lucidchart.

Preferred Certifications :

- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

- AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty

- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) networking focus

- Juniper/Citrix certifications are a plus
