About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Network Test Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking protocols and a proven track record in designing, developing, and executing test plans for network devices and solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in performance and scale validation, and a commitment to ensuring the quality and reliability of our network products.

Responsibilities :

- Test Plan Development : Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans to validate network devices and solutions.

- Functionality & Performance Testing : Validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of network products.

- Protocol Expertise : Utilize a deep understanding of networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, eVPN, MPLS, QoS, and ACLs.

- Device & Tool Proficiency : Work with various network devices (switches, routers) and test tools such as IXIA and Spirent.

- Optical Transceiver Validation : Gain experience with and validate platforms using Optical Transceivers (100G, 400G, 800G).

- Automation : Use scripting languages, preferably Python, and automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.

- Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues and ensure a high-quality product.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : At least 6 years of experience in a Network Test Engineering role.

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Networking.

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with network devices (switches, routers).

- Expertise in networking technologies : BGP, OSPF, eVPN, MPLS, QoS, ACL, etc.

- Hands-on experience with test tools like IXIA and Spirent.

- Experience with Optical Transceivers and platform validation.

- Automation (Desirable) : Experience with scripting languages (Python) and automation tools.

Certifications (Preferred) : Certifications like CCNA or CCNP are a plus.

Soft Skills : Strong communication skills are essential for this role.

Notice Period : Must be able to join within a notice period of 15-30 days.
