Position Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 7+ years of hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade network infrastructures using Cisco and Meraki technologies.

The Network SME will own end-to-end network architecture, including routing & switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and security integrations, across large-scale, multi-site and hybrid cloud environments. This role plays a critical part in network operations, troubleshooting, migrations, and modernization initiatives, ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and security of enterprise networks.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions using Cisco and Meraki platforms.

- Architect and manage campus, branch, and data center network environments.

- Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot routing and switching infrastructure.

- Manage Meraki Dashboard administration including MX, MR, and MS devices.

- Design and support secure connectivity using VPNs, IPsec tunnels, and SD-WAN technologies.

- Perform proactive monitoring, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.

- Support network migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.

- Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams for end-to-end network integration.

- Create and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.

- Provide technical guidance and act as an escalation point for complex network issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.

- Strong expertise in:

- Cisco Routing & Switching (Catalyst, Nexus)

- Cisco Wireless

- Cisco & Meraki SD-WAN

- Meraki MX, MR, MS and Dashboard administration

- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols:

- BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Static Routing

- Solid understanding of:

- VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP

- QoS

- DNS, DHCP

- VPN and IPsec tunnels

- IPv4 and IPv6

- Proven ability to design and troubleshoot campus and branch networks.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Cisco Certifications: CCNA, CCNP (Enterprise)

- Meraki Certifications: CMNA, ECMS1, ECMS2

- Experience with:

- Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center

- Load balancers: F5, Citrix NetScaler

- Firewalls: Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto (optional)

- SASE / ZTNA concepts

- Experience managing large-scale, multi-site distributed enterprise environments.
