Network Security Firewall (4 to 9y). No Work from Home. Location : BKC Mumbai. Candidate should be knowing Network Security with Skills such as Checkpoint, Palo Alto.

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Firewall Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise network security infrastructure. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls, along with a solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and manage Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls in enterprise environments.

- Implement and maintain firewall policies, NAT rules, and security rules in line with organizational standards.

- Perform firewall migrations, upgrades, and patching activities.

- Monitor firewall performance and troubleshoot network/security issues.

- Handle VPN configurations (Site-to-Site and Remote Access).

- Work on security incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation.

- Conduct rule reviews, optimization, and cleanup to ensure policy efficiency and compliance.

- Coordinate with network, SOC, and infrastructure teams for security implementations.

- Support audits and compliance requirements by providing required documentation and reports.

- Ensure high availability and redundancy for firewall infrastructure.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- 4 to 9 years of experience in Network Security and Firewall Management.

- Strong hands-on experience with Checkpoint (R80.x and above) and Palo Alto (PAN-OS).

- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts : TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.

- Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL).

- Understanding of security concepts : IDS/IPS, threat prevention, URL filtering, antivirus, and application control.

- Experience with firewall rule troubleshooting and performance tuning.

- Familiarity with SIEM tools and log analysis is a plus.

- Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP Security, PCNSE, or Check Point CCSA/CCSE.

- Exposure to cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP firewall and network security services).

- Experience with ITIL processes and change management.
