Job Description

Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with proven expertise in firewall technologies to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade network security solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding critical infrastructure, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewall technologies including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, and Cisco ASA.

- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents.

- Implement and maintain network security policies, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS/IDS).

- Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of network solutions.

- Document configurations, procedures, and incident reports for compliance and knowledge sharing.

- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats and firewall technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Education : B.Sc. IT, BCA, MCA, BE, or B.Tech (mandatory).

- Strong hands-on expertise in firewall technologies : Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA.

- Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SSL, IPSec).

- Experience in configuring and managing VPNs, IPS/IDS, and advanced firewall features.

- Knowledge of network security best practices, policies, and compliance frameworks.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to handle incidents independently.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have :

- Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto (PCNSE), Fortinet (NSE), Check Point CCSA/CCSE, Cisco CCNP Security.

- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Familiarity with SIEM tools and endpoint protection technologies.
