- Working on network security technologies (Firewall, Proxy, IDS/IPS, DDoS, etc.)

- Respond promptly to requests, incidents, and tickets from application owners.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and application requirements.

- Design, configure, and maintain firewall rules and policies that meet security standards.

- Troubleshoot network connectivity and firewall performance issues.

- Monitor firewall activity, identify potential threats, and recommend remediation steps.

- Ensure firewall rule changes align with change management procedures and compliance guidelines.

- Document all configurations, changes, and resolutions accurately.

- Manage and update internal documentation

- Monitor device health and activities

- Assist in the day to day management of the proxy and access requests

- Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving a wide variety of client issues and issues affecting the security of our computing resources

- Provide technical and operational security support to IT, Engineering, Legal, and business units

- Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.

- Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards.

Key Competencies & Skills required :

Technical Skills :

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in network security or firewall engineering.

- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint).

- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and security concepts.

- Experience with enterprise change management processes and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).

- Good understanding of networking and security concepts
