Network Security Engineer - F5/Load Balancing

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer L2 with hands-on expertise in F5 Load Balancer, F5 WAF, and Citrix NetScaler. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in application delivery, load balancing, network protocols, and security technologies. This role requires in-depth technical skills to manage, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize critical infrastructure components supporting business applications and services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain F5 Load Balancer (LTM, GTM), F5 WAF, and Citrix NetScaler devices.

- Handle day-to-day Level 2 and Level 3 operations support, including troubleshooting, change management, and performance optimization.

- Participate in architecture discussions and provide inputs on infrastructure improvements.

- Implement and manage Load Balancing and Web Application Firewall (WAF) configurations.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to attend client meetings, discuss technical change requests, and implement them with minimal disruption.

- Perform vulnerability assessments, security hardening, and ensure compliance with best practices.

- Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and documentation for incidents and changes.

- Troubleshoot network and security protocols including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and manage failover configurations.

- Configure and manage HA (High Availability), GSLB (Global Server Load Balancing), and SSL offloading.

- Support cloud integrations and have working knowledge of Cloud XC, OWASP, and Zero Trust concepts.

- Use ServiceNow for incident, change, and problem ticketing processes.

- Maintain daily operations documentation and contribute to compliance audits using tools like MS Office 365, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancer and/or F5 WAF.

- Strong experience in Citrix NetScaler and F5 appliances.

- Good understanding of static and dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).

- Working knowledge of ITIL processes and framework.

- Experience in incident response, severity issue troubleshooting, and change management.

- Active professional-level certification from OEMs like F5 or Citrix.

- Familiarity with application delivery concepts, ASM, GTM, and SSL offloading.

- Comfortable with 24x7 operations support in a client-facing environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and data center deployments.

- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, cloud security, Zero Trust architecture, and IoT/AI-based solutions.

- Exposure to cyber resiliency, incident management frameworks, and cloud networking security.
