Network Security Engineer - Checkpoint Firewall

Job Description:

- Hands-on experience with Checkpoint Firewalls, Cisco ASA Firewalls, and the Zscaler SASE platform.

- Strong understanding of network security concepts, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAT, and access control policies.

- Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).

- Ability to analyse logs, troubleshoot complex security issues, and resolve incidents independently.

Key/mandatory skills : Checkpoint, WAF, SASE, Azure

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Minimum 9 years of experience in designing, configuring, and implementing enterprise-class network solutions.

2. Min 7 plus years of Experience in Delivering Network Security Operations in various security products such as Check Point/Palo Alto Firewalls / Cisco firewall.

3. Good knowledge of authentication methods like RADIUS &tacacs.

4. Hands-on experience and good understanding and troubleshooting skills on Citrix NetScaler Load balancers / Web Application firewall.

5. Working knowledge of URL filtering /proxies/Antispam & IPS.

6. Hands-on experience in configuring URL filtering, file blocking and security profiles in Palo Alto firewalls.

7. Experience in Firewalls, VPN/Remote Access network

8. Cloud Technology ( AWS, Azure) knowledge
