We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Engineer to take ownership of our critical network infrastructure and security posture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our existing network while leading the design and implementation of a revamped infrastructure focused on maximizing performance, reliability, and security. This role requires exceptional hands-on technical skills in IP networking, diverse security technologies, load balancing, and strong cross-platform troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities :

Network Architecture & Performance Optimization :

- Lead the design and architecture of the next-generation network infrastructure, focusing on scalability, high availability, and performance optimization.

Maintenance & Improvement :

- Maintain the current network configuration and infrastructure, performing periodic enhancements and performance tuning.

Capacity Management :

- Conduct network capacity planning and analyze performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.

Load Balancing Management :

- Deploy, configure, and maintain critical application delivery infrastructure using NetScaler and F5 Load Balancers. This includes the essential and time-sensitive task of renewing certificates on these load balancers.

Security Management :

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade security devices, including Checkpoint Firewalls and security solutions from Fortinet.

Connectivity :

- Configure and manage various VPN Technologies (Site-to-Site, Remote Access) to ensure secure and reliable remote connectivity.

- Provide high-level troubleshooting and configuration support for complex network and application issues, leveraging strong technical skills in Linux and Windows environments and deep knowledge of IP networking protocols.

Vulnerability Remediation :

- Take primary responsibility for the clean-up and remediation of several thousand network-related vulnerabilities across the infrastructure.

- Plan and execute general hardware patching and firmware upgrades for all network devices and load balancers.

Testing :

- Coordinate and perform periodic failover testing to validate business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience. Relevant industry certifications are highly preferred (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Checkpoint Certified Security Expert, F5 Certified Big-IP Administrator).
