Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, build, test, and support scalable and secure network environments.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with VMware-based networking, exposure to automation and infrastructure-as-code, and a solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals.
This role involves working in lab and production environments to validate solutions and support enterprise-grade infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and support enterprise network environments across lab and production setups.
- Create and maintain network test labs to validate configurations, performance, and security.
- Work extensively with VMware networking (NSX preferred).
- Implement and support load balancing solutions, with strong preference for F5.
- Configure and support NGINX for traffic management and reverse proxy use cases.
- Develop and execute test scripts using any scripting language to validate network behavior.
- Apply networking and security concepts to ensure resilient and secure designs.
- Support basic network automation using Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Document designs, test cases, and operational procedures.
Key Requirements :
- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer.
- Strong practical experience with VMware networking technologies.
- Experience building network labs, understanding networking and security fundamentals, and applying automation concepts.
- Ability to create and execute test scripts using any scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with load balancers, preferably F5.
- Exposure to NGINX.
- Working knowledge of Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with VMware NSX.
- Certifications such as CCNP, VCP-NV, or equivalent.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven environments.
