My client is a global leader in inflight entertaintment and connectivity solutions.
They're hiring a Network Engineer (Traffic Engineering + Ops ) to support our next-gen Traffic Management Platform used in SD-WAN and cloud-native environments. Youll work across networking, virtualization, automation, and API integration.
Key Responsibilities :
- Tune traffic policies and analyze performance/bottlenecks.
- Automate tasks using Python, Bash, Ansible & REST APIs.
- Troubleshoot network issues, monitor traffic, and perform maintenance/upgrades.
- Create documentation and support cross-functional projects.
- Participate in on-call rotation & flexible hours for US overlap.
Required Skills :
- Linux/Unix admin expertise.
- Hands-on with VMware/Hyper-V (virtualization).
- Scripting : Python, Bash, AWK; Automation with Ansible.
- API integration (REST/SOAP).
- SQL/DB skills (PostgreSQL, Vertica).
- CI/CD knowledge.
- Preferable : Datadog, Dynatrace.
- Experience with migrations, upgrades & network operations.
- Ability to lead technical implementation projects.
Experience & Education :
- Bachelors in CS/IT/Engineering (Masters preferred).
- 4+ years in Network Operations/Development.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum & SDLC.
Soft Skills :
- Strong communication, documentation & collaboration.
- Excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments; up to 10% travel.
