About the Job :

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Cisco Meraki Network Engineer to join our team in Bangalore.

In this hybrid role, you will be a key player in managing our network infrastructure, with a strong focus on Cisco Meraki and F5 technologies.

You'll be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex network environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in network administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to lead and mentor a team.

Key Responsibilities :

Network & Security Management : Deploy, configure, and maintain functional LAN/WAN networks.
This includes hands-on experience with both network and security aspects of the infrastructure.

Cisco Meraki & F5 Expertise : Serve as the subject matter expert for Cisco Meraki and F5 Load Balancer.
You will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience with these platforms, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Wireless Infrastructure : Perform administration and troubleshooting for Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and wireless access points.

Hardware & Software Upgrades : Plan and execute hardware and software upgrades for routers, switches, and other network devices to ensure the infrastructure is always up-to-date and secure.

Performance Monitoring & Integrity : Actively monitor network performance and integrity using tools like SolarWinds.

- Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.

Network Administration & Troubleshooting : Perform day-to-day network administration tasks and serve as the primary escalation point for complex network issues and outages.

Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of 10 or more associates.

You'll be responsible for guiding junior engineers, fostering their skill development, and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.

Collaboration : Effectively collaborate with various business partners and IT professionals across different departments and levels of the organization to meet project goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : 5-8 years of overall experience in network engineering, with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience specifically with Cisco Meraki and F5 Load Balancers.

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki products (Switches, Firewalls, Access Points).

- In-depth knowledge of F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM).

- Proven experience with Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and wireless access points.

- Exposure to network monitoring tools like SolarWinds.

- Experience with router/switch hardware and software upgrades.

- Network Voice experience is a plus.

Leadership & Personal Skills :

- A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team of 10 or more associates.

- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize requests, and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education : A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required
