Network Engineer - Cisco ASA

Role : Network Engineer Firewall.

Location : Pune OR Hyderabad, India.

Full-Time | Enterprise Infrastructure.

Job Description :

Role & Responsibilities :

Cisco ASA Support & Migration :

- Support, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco ASA firewalls.

- Manage AnyConnect Remote Access and IPsec VPNs.

- Assist in migration efforts from ASA to next-generation security platforms.

Load Balancing :

- Configure, maintain, and optimize Redware Alteon load balancers.

Palo Alto Networks (Firewalls & Panorama) :

- Manage, configure, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.

- Work with Dynamic Address Groups (DAGs), Security Profiles, BGP, and Prefix Lists.

- Execute L4-L7 policy conversion and optimization.

- Configure and support IPsec tunnels and GlobalProtect VPN solutions.

Network Architecture & Operations :

- Design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize network connectivity across data centers, cloud, and hybrid environments.

- Collaborate with AWS and Azure teams to secure and extend multi-cloud and hybrid connectivity.

- Participate in, and occasionally lead, after-hours or weekend change windows.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent practical experience.

- CCNP-Security, CCNP-Enterprise, PCNSA, or PCNSE.

- Cloud certifications - AWS / Azure.

- 7-10 years of enterprise network engineering experience.

- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, planning, and documentation skills.

- On-site availability at least 3 days per week.

Preferred Experience :

- Exposure to Prisma Access, AIOps for Panorama, or automation/scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)

- Experience with data center migrations, network segmentation, or large-scale redesigns.

- Familiarity with enterprise incident and change management processes.
