Job Description :

Role & Responsibilities :

Enterprise WiFi Technologies :


- In-depth knowledge of major wireless vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper/Mist, Meraki).

- Experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-level wireless networks.

- Hands-on expertise with WiFi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).

Wireless Security :


- Strong understanding of wireless security protocols (WPA2-Enterprise, WPA3, 802.1X).

- Proficient in using Identity Services Engine (ISE).

- Familiarity with authentication methods such as RADIUS and EAP.

- Experience implementing segmentation and securing guest WiFi networks.

Network Troubleshooting & Optimization :


- Extensive wireless troubleshooting using tools like Ekahau, AirMagnet, or similar.

- Skilled in spectrum analysis and RF troubleshooting.

- Conducting WiFi site surveys (predictive and onsite), heat mapping, and performance tuning.

Global & Multi-site Deployments :


- Experience deploying wireless networks across multiple regions or offices.

- Understanding of wireless compliance and regional regulatory standards (e.g., DFS, channel limitations).

- Familiarity with WAN/MPLS/SD-WAN integration for wireless backhaul.

Automation & Monitoring :


- Knowledge of WiFi monitoring tools, SNMP, and syslog systems.

- Experience with automation scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.) for network management.

Network Infrastructure Fundamentals :


- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, QoS, and routing protocols.

- Experience integrating wireless networks with existing LAN/WAN infrastructure.

Capacity Planning & High-Density Environments :


- Experience designing for high-density environments (e.g., trading floors, auditoriums).

- Expertise in capacity planning, user segmentation, and seamless roaming.

Compliance & Documentation :


- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).

- Excellent documentation skills, including network diagrams, configuration standards, and operational guides.

Soft Skills :


- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (technical and non-technical).

- Experience working in regulated financial environments with an understanding of compliance

requirements.

Desirable Certifications :


- CWNA / CWNP (Certified Wireless Network Professional).

- Cisco CCNP Enterprise (Wireless, ENWLSD, or ENWLSI focus).

- Aruba ACMP / ACMX.

- Other vendor-specific wireless certifications.
