Description :

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support large-scale network deployment and implementation projects across branch sites and remote ATMs. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth installation and configuration of networking equipment, provide technical expertise during deployments, and serve as a central point of contact for resolving implementation issues. This role requires strong Cisco SD-WAN and switching experience, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage high volumes of simultaneous projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Implementation & Deployment :

- Execute large-scale network projects across multiple branch sites and remote locations, including ATMs.

- Support high-volume deployment activities, potentially involving thousands of devices and sites.

- Provide bulk project support with repeatable process engineering and installation implementation.

- Act as the central point of contact for escalation and resolution of issues encountered by field teams.

- Minimize project aborts by providing real-time technical guidance and support during implementation.

Technical Expertise & Configuration :

- Implement and configure Cisco SD-WAN appliances, switches, and wireless access points using Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN and Catalyst Center.

- Serve as the focal point for circuit installations, testing, and verification.

- Perform pre- and post-installation checks on network equipment.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during deployment and installation.

- Capture post-change statistics and verify against pre-change baselines.

Collaboration & Reporting :

- Work closely with onsite technicians to ensure proper installation and configuration of network equipment.

- Collaborate with Telco carriers to address circuit-related issues and lead connectivity testing.

- Interact daily with Project Management and stakeholders to report project performance and new requirements.

- Provide daily reports to management and ensure clean turnover of completed installations to production teams.

- Verify technician access and compliance with security protocols.

- Escalate unresolved issues to the project team and communicate pre-existing issues to Day 2 Operations.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience in network engineering, preferably in large-scale project deployments.

- Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco Catalyst switches, and wireless APs.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for network connectivity and configuration issues.

- Familiarity with circuit installations, testing, and carrier coordination.

- Ability to manage high-volume, simultaneous deployment activities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
