Detailed JD :

- Manage Cato network devices and Extreme switches, APs.

- Design, configure, and deploy Extreme Networks solutions across enterprise environments.

- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for Extreme Networks switches, routers,

wireless access points, and management platforms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and deliver scalable

solutions.

- Lead network upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.

- Develop and maintain documentation including network diagrams, configuration standards,

and operational procedures.

- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring.

- Stay updated with the latest Extreme Networks technologies, firmware updates, and best

practices.

- Train and mentor junior network engineers and support staff.

- Interface with Extreme Networks support and account teams for escalations and strategic

planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong knowledge and hand-on experience in configuring Cato network devices and Extreme switches, APs.

- Strong understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, QoS, and

multicast.

- Experience with Extreme Management Center (XMC), Fabric Connect, and ExtremeCloud IQ.

- Certifications such as Extreme Certified Specialist (ECS) or Extreme Certified Expert (ECE) are

highly desirable.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Experience in large-scale enterprise or service provider environments.

- Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible).

- Knowledge of network security principles and integration with firewalls and NAC solutions.
