The Network Multi-Cloud Project and Technical Assistant will support network cloud initiatives by assisting project managers and technical teams with planning, implementation, and coordination of cloud network projects.

This role involves a blend of technical and administrative tasks aimed at optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient project delivery, and supporting the ongoing maintenance and performance of cloud-based network solutions.

Responsibilities :

Project Support and Coordination :

- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of cloud network projects, ensuring that milestones are met on time and within scope.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document project plans, and update stakeholders on project progress.

- Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes for tracking action items.

- Coordinate with cloud service providers and vendors to facilitate timely delivery of resources.

Technical Assistance and Implementation Support :

- Assist technical teams with the setup, configuration, and management of cloud network resources, including virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.

- Provide troubleshooting support for cloud network infrastructure, escalating issues to senior engineers when necessary.

- Maintain documentation on network configurations, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cloud environments.

- Support ongoing optimization and maintenance of cloud networking to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

Cloud Network Security and Compliance :

- Assist in the implementation of security best practices, including network segmentation, access controls, and data protection measures in cloud environments.

- Support the multi-OEM network security appliances (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet etc).

- Support the application of compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) within cloud network configurations and policies.

- Monitor network performance and alerts, contributing to incident response and remediation processes when security issues arise.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Prepare regular reports on cloud network performance, project status, and technical issues encountered during implementation.

- Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including timelines, project milestones, resource allocation, and risk assessments.

- Document and update network topology, design, and configuration changes as projects progress.

Training and Knowledge Sharing :

- Assist in organizing training sessions for team members on cloud network tools and best practices.

- Work closely with cloud engineers to gain technical knowledge, staying updated on emerging cloud networking technologies.

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related field.

- Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle and Google Cloud) and core network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, load balancing).

- 4-5 years of experience in a technical support, network administration, or project assistant role, ideally with exposure to cloud environments.

- Basic knowledge of network security principles and cloud governance.

- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

- Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Oracle Cloud Certified, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to supporting network and cloud projects.
