Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect / Engineer with a background in Electrical or IT Engineering to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in managing large-scale network environments in telecom industry.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions aligned with business and operational requirements of telecom towers.

- Lead end-to-end network infrastructure projects, including planning, implementation, and optimization.

- Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.

- Implement and maintain SNMP-based network monitoring systems for both IPv4 and IPv6 environments.

- Perform root cause analysis and resolution of complex network issues beyond L1/L2 support capabilities.

- Develop and maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, security, and field engineers (FSEs/SMEs) to ensure seamless integration and performance.

- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning using SNMP data and traffic analysis.

- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across network-related initiatives.

- Support disaster recovery planning and execution for network infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong understanding of network protocols and architectures (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs).

- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, Juniper OS, and other enterprise-grade network platforms.

- Proficiency in configuring and managing SNMP agents, traps, and MIBs.

- Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, IPS/IDS, DDoS mitigation).

- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or similar.

- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or IPv6 Forum certifications are highly desirable.

- Experience with wireless networking technologies (e.g., Cisco DNAC) is a plus.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Prior knowledge of OSS and OpenView would be an added advantage
