Network Architect - SDN/NFV

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Networking Architect to design, implement, and optimize large-scale network infrastructures supporting business-critical applications and services.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network architecture, SDN/NFV technologies, cloud networking, and security, along with hands-on experience in designing high-performance, scalable, and secure network ecosystems for enterprise or telecom environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and architecture of complex enterprise and carrier-grade network solutions.

- Define and implement network frameworks, standards, and security policies to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, security, DevOps, and infrastructure) to develop integrated architecture strategies.

- Evaluate, recommend, and integrate SDN/NFV, SD-WAN, and automation technologies.

- Oversee the migration and modernization of legacy networks to next-generation platforms.

- Design and document network topology diagrams, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations.

- Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis for network-related incidents.

- Manage vendor engagement for solution validation, POCs, and technology upgrades.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience :

Must-Have :

- 1015 years of experience in network design, implementation, and architecture.

- Strong expertise in routing, switching, and security (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, VLAN, QoS).

- Hands-on experience with SDN/NFV, data center, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, or Arista network equipment.

- Experience designing and managing LAN/WAN and multi-site network topologies.

- Sound understanding of network automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform).

- Deep understanding of firewalls, load balancers, and network security policies.

Good to Have :

- Experience with 5G, Telco Cloud, or Edge Networking architectures.

- Familiarity with OpenStack, VMware NSX, Nuage Networks, or SD-WAN platforms.

- Exposure to microservices, containers, and Kubernetes networking.

- Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and SASE frameworks.

- Relevant certifications : CCIE, JNCIE, NRS-II, AWS/Azure Networking Specialty, RHCE.

Education :
