Job Description

Position : Network Administrator

Qualification : BE / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field

Experience : Minimum 5 years (preferably with OEM exposure)

Location : Thrivendram

Employment Type : Full-time

Key Responsibilities :


- Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VPN, Load Balancers).

- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.

- Perform installation, upgrades, and patching of network devices in line with OEM best practices.

- Work closely with OEM vendors for escalations, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and support.

- Implement and enforce network security policies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access control.

- Manage IP addressing, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and network segmentation (VLANs, MPLS).

- Conduct periodic network audits, capacity planning, and performance optimization.

- Provide L2/L3 support for incidents and service requests.

- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.

- Support disaster recovery planning and implementation of high-availability solutions.

Required Skills & Expertise :


- Strong knowledge of Cisco / Juniper / Aruba / Palo Alto / Fortinet or other OEM networking technologies.

- Hands-on experience with Routing & Switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).

- Experience with firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, Load balancers, Wireless Controllers.

- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.).

- Understanding of cloud networking (AWS / Azure) and hybrid environments.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Cisco (CCNP/CCIE)

- Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE

- Fortinet NSE4+

- Palo Alto PCNSE
