Job Description :
Your Role :
- IT System Maintenance : Ensure that all computers, biometric systems, and attendance systems across the hospital function efficiently. Regularly check systems to prevent downtime and manage scheduled maintenance.
- Network Administration : Monitor and manage the hospitals network infrastructure, ensuring stable and secure connectivity for all departments. Resolve any network issues quickly and efficiently.
- Issue Handling : Act as the first point of contact for any technical issues related to hardware, software, or network problems. Provide prompt troubleshooting and solutions.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with other departments to ensure that their IT needs are met. Coordinate with external IT vendors when necessary.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain records of all technical issues, solutions provided, and preventive actions taken. Provide reports to the management on network performance and system updates.
- Manage and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Oversee the school's wired and wireless LAN across academic blocks, labs, admin offices, and classrooms.
- Ensure reliable internet connectivity, including load balancing and failover configurations.
- Implement network security measures including firewall rules, VLAN segregation, and content filtering.
- Monitor for threats or unusual activity using tools like PRTG, Zabbix, or equivalent.
- Perform periodic vulnerability assessments and system updates.
- Design, install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Management of wireless infrastructure (Access point and wireless controller)
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability, bandwidth and reliability.
- Proficiency in Palo Alto, Fortigate and Cisco FTD firewalls.
- Perform network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot network issues and outages and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain and administer network management systems and tools.
- Network devices upgrade, update.
- Managing compliance like ISO 27001:2013 for Network infrastructure
- Implement and manage VPN, WAN, and LAN connections.
- Management and monitoring of Network monitoring Tools like Solarwind
- Coordinate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of network and server infrastructure.
- Respond to and resolve network-related incidents and service requests raised by school staff.
- Maintain structured cabling and rack arrangements in server/network rooms.
- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance for network equipment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture, IP schema, and device logs.
- Prepare network health and usage reports for IT leadership and school management.
- Liaise with service providers for internet lines, AMC, and hardware purchases.
- Support the IT team in deployments of ERP, LMS, MDM systems, and digital learning tools.
What You Bring :
- Technical Expertise : At least 3 years of experience in network administration, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting. Must be skilled in managing IT systems, networks, biometric devices, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Education : A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications in network management are an advantage.
- Skills & Attributes : Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple systems simultaneously and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with non-technical staff.

Qualifications :
- Education : Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications in network management (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
- Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience in IT network administration, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Skills : Proficiency in troubleshooting, network monitoring, and biometric system management. Knowledge of hospital management software is an advantage.
