NetSuite Functional Manager

Hiring for a Leading Engineering Company.

Job Purpose : Under general direction of the CDO and CFO, the NetSuite Functional manager is responsible for understanding solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product / technology family and ERP Strategic Planning This position is responsible for the overall management of the NetSuite system for BGE (multi-site / entity organization).

Work mode Remote in US timings (4 pm to 2am IST)

Duties & Responsibilities :

- Provides continuous leadership and support, ensuring the business gets the most out of the NetSuite software

- Analyses business processes and systems, identifying areas where new technology can improve day-to-day operations

- Periodically reviews whether NetSuite is being used properly to ensure business objectives are being met and suggest short- and long-term improvements

- Develops business requirements and then implements and configures NetSuite to meet the requirements

- Develops and implements NetSuite customizations using technical consultants as needed

- Architects' solutions for complex business requirements, which may include configuration and/or integration and/or technical components

- Analyses and understands existing operational processes and software

- Researches and consults on various Finance and Operations matters (e.g. Tax).

- Defines detailed functional requirements and designs for internal team to test automations and integrations to NetSuite

- Assists technical teams with change management and technical skills

- Customizes NetSuite set up, fields, record types, reports, page layouts, and dashboards as needed

- Writes design specifications and estimates for programs

- Holds discussions with decision-makers to optimize and improve processes

- Handles system integration testing procedures, prepares test scripts, and prepares test data

- Designs a system enhancement process, developing materials for end-users, and communicating with the clients to gather project requirements

- Responsible for the delivery of configurations and customizations within NetSuite

- Works internally with teams to remediate the highest priority gaps

- Ability to travel as necessary, with the ability to obtain a Passport to travel outside the United States

- These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience 8 to 10 years with Minimum of 5 years of experience in NetSuite configuration and management

- Knowledge in One World implementations

- Knowledge and experience in a project-based company

- Advanced knowledge of Revenue Management and Multi-Entity environments

- Ability to thrive in an environment of pressing deadlines and constantly changing conditions

- Proven creativity with the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions

- Proven analytical and leadership skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to determine causes and produce effective solutions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams
