Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled techno-functional professional with strong expertise in SQL, Python, and AI/Advanced Analytics to design, build, and scale data-driven insights for business stakeholders. The role requires strong business acumen, SQL expertise, and the ability to design sustainable, scalable solutions using modern AI-assisted development approaches.

This individual will play a critical role in translating business needs into automated workflows, data solutions, and AI-driven outputs that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

Job Requirements :

Business & Functional Partnership :

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges, and operational workflows.

- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications (BRDs, use cases, process flows).

- Provide consultative guidance on automation opportunities and scalable solution design.

AI-Driven Solution Design (Prompt Engineering & Automation) :

- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, AI agents) to design and optimise code, workflows, and data solutions.

- Develop structured, high-quality prompts to generate accurate outputs (SQL queries, scripts, automation logic, insights).

- Continuously review and refine AI-generated outputs for performance, accuracy, and reusability.

- Build and operationalise AI-driven automation workflows aligned with business needs.

Python & Advanced Analytics :

- Use Python for data preparation, automation, and advanced analytics.

- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and data transformations.

- Develop reusable Python scripts/notebooks for analytics workflows.

- Integrate Python outputs into Power BI and reporting layers.

Agentic AI & Copilot-Based Development :

- Design and develop no-code/low-code AI agents using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and other enterprise AI tools.

- Build multi-step, task-oriented agents capable of :

1. Answering business queries

2. Triggering workflows

3. Analysing structured data (SQL / BI datasets)

4. Integrating with enterprise systems

- Configure intent-based and goal-driven agents without traditional ML coding.

Stakeholder Engagement & Ownership :

- Collaborate with business leaders to deliver data-driven solutions.

- Own end-to-end solution lifecycle : requirement gathering, development, deployment, and adoption.

- Document solutions, data definitions, and business logic clearly.

Must-Have :

- Power BI : Strong expertise in DAX, data modelling, and performance tuning.

- SQL : Advanced proficiency across analytical and transactional databases.

- Python : Hands-on experience in data analysis, automation, and ML workflows.

- Data Modelling : Strong knowledge of star schema, KPIs, and dimensional modelling.

- AI/ML Fundamentals : Understanding of regression, classification, forecasting, and model evaluation.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Nice-to-Have :

- Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift).

- Familiarity with Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure AI services.

- Experience building self-service analytics platforms.

- Knowledge of data governance, security, and role-based access.

- Exposure to Copilot, chatbots, or conversational analytics.

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.

- Typically requires a minimum of 7 - 13 years of related experience. Flexible based on proficiency.

- Shift Timings will be : 2 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM (IST).
