Job Title : Network Engineer Level 3 (Cisco Focus)

Job Summary :
- Lead implementation of advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and Layer 2 technologies (VTP, STP, HSRP, VRRP, EtherChannel).
- Architect and support secure edge environments using Cisco ASA, Firepower Threat Defense (FTD), and Cisco Umbrella.
- Engineer site-to-site and remote-access VPNs with Cisco ASA/AnyConnect.
- Manage enterprise wireless infrastructure using Cisco WLC and APs (including Wi-Fi 6).
- Implement network segmentation, identity-based access, and zero-trust policies with Cisco ISE.
- Collaborate with security and cloud teams on projects involving SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Monitor and optimize network performance using Cisco tools (Prime, DNA Center, ThousandEyes, NetFlow).
- Create and maintain detailed network documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
- Act as an escalation point for Level 1 & 2 support and interface with Cisco TAC for high-severity issues.
- Participate in network DR planning, compliance audits, and change management processes.
Required Qualifications :
- Deep understanding of Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and CLI-based configuration.
- Experience with Cisco switching (Catalyst 9K series), routing (ISR/ASR), and wireless (WLC, APs).
- Proficient in firewall and security technologies (Cisco ASA, Firepower, VPNs).
- Knowledge of high-availability designs, QoS, multicast, MPLS and DIA.
- Experience with Cisco DNA Center, Prime Infrastructure, or ThousandEyes is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with scripting/automation (Python, Ansible) is desirable but not required.
Education & Certifications :
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) required.
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) preferred or in progress.
- Additional certifications (e.g., Cisco DevNet, CCNP Security, CCNP Enterprise, or AWS/Azure Networking) are a plus.
