Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain secure, scalable and high-performing applications.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to understand BFSI-specific requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Design APIs and microservices to support high-volume transaction flows and third-party integrations.

- Good knowledge, understanding & experience of working with a large variety of multi-tier architectures.

- Awareness of pitfalls & use cases for a large variety of solutions.

- Optimize database performance (Oracle/MySQL/MongoDB) and ensure data integrity and security.

- Implement security best practices (e.g., data encryption, OWASP guidelines, access controls) to meet BFS compliance standards.

- Solid coding skills with ability to drive teams through massive refactoring exercise & improve coding standards across large code bases.

- Lead the code reviews, unit testing, and peer programming to ensure code quality.

- Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development in .Net or RoR

- Proven experience in building financial or BFSI domain applications (e.g., loan management, payments, digital banking).

- Strong knowledge of RESTful API development, background jobs and service-oriented architecture.

- Proficiency in relational databases (Oracle or MySQL) and No-SQL (Mongo).

- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and Docker/Kubernetes environments.

- Good exposure on design & development of cloud native solutions.

- Understanding of secure coding practices and compliance in BFSI applications.

- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins, etc.

- Have a penchant for solving complex and interesting problems.

Good to Have :

- Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or event-driven architectures

- Experience in Python or C# languages / frameworks

- Experience in caching systems (Redis/Memcached) | Queuing systems (RabbitMQ/Kafka)

- Experience with frontend technologies (JavaScript, React/Vue/Next) is a plus.

- Experience with Large Language models for development activities

- Exposure to GenAI platforms Claude Code, AWS Bedrock, Google AI Studio/Vertex AI etc.
