DATA ARCHITECT We are looking for an experienced hands-on Data Architect to design and manage data architecture solutions that enable our organization to derive actionable insights from large and complex data sets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture and data engineering, with experience in cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as a significant advantage.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Key Responsibilities :

Data Architecture Design :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure data architectures.

- Create data models, database schemas, and data flow diagrams to meet business needs.

- Develop a data architecture roadmap that aligns with organizational goals.

- Evaluate and recommend appropriate data management technologies and tools.

- Implement database technologies (relational, NoSQL, data warehouses, etc.) that best meet the needs of the organization.

- Stay up to date with emerging data technologies and industry trends.

Integration and Management :

- Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from various sources into centralized data repositories.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all data stores.

- Implement best practices for data lifecycle management, including data retention, archiving, and purging.

- Monitor the performance of data architecture solutions and make adjustments to improve efficiency and

scalability.

- Optimize databases, queries, and data processing jobs for performance and cost effectiveness.

- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

- Establish data governance frameworks to manage data usage, quality, and access controls.

Collaboration and Leadership :

- Work closely with data engineers, product owners and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers.

- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure data solutions are aligned with overall IT infrastructure.

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

SHORTLIST REQUIREMENTS :

- Bachelor/masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field from Tier 1 institute.

- Relevant certifications in data architecture or cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.

- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex data architectures.

- Hands-on experience with data modelling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.

- Experience with cloud platforms, with GCP experience being a strong advantage.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

- Strong understanding of data integration tools and techniques (ETL/ELT).

- Familiarity with cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS, Azure) with preference given to candidates with GCP experience.

- Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance practices.

- Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data.
